EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY (EXCEPT 25 AUGUST) FROM 2 PM ACTION

– EXPOSITION OF BUILDING-HISTORICAL RESEARCH
/ every Friday in August from 2 p.m

The exposition is located in the oldest part of the farm yard of the Plzeň monastery and is unique in its concept and meaning. Visitors are introduced to the procedures and methods of researching historical buildings on a very concrete example of an extraordinary monument with a very interesting building history.

– THE COURT OF BUILDING CRAFTS
/ every Saturday in August except 25 August at 2 pm + Saturday 1 September

During a special guided tour, you will learn a lot not only about the functioning of the Baroque farm yard, but also about the old machines that are housed in it. In addition, you will be able to watch how they can be used to make a mason’s trowel – an attribute of all builders. The most attentive visitors will take the spoon made during the tour home with them.

The demonstration of the production of the mason’s spoon is part of the programme “How Master Matěj Ondřej Kondel came to the mason’s spoon”, which was supported by the Pilsen Region (www.turisturaj.cz) and was held for the first time as part of the Summer Baroque Festival of the Pilsen Region (www.zapadoceskebaroko.cz) at the Centre of Building Heritage in Plasy on 23 June 2018.
